The inspiration for this piece came from " Heaven Pure Sand" (Tian jing sha) By Ma Zhi-yuan (1260-1325). This work was premiered by South Korean cellist Gaeun Kim at Paul Hall, The Juilliard School.

This work was performed at the National Opera Center in the United States during the 2024 musicON Festival, with the composer serving as an invited artist of the festival.
This piano piece unfolds like a vivid painting, radiating an optimistic, cheerful, and exuberant spirit toward life. Upon hearing it, listeners cannot help but yearn to immerse themselves in the music, as if transported to that lush expanse of forest brimming with vitality.

The Chinese Tang Dynasty Poetry, lyrics by Du Fu, expressed the poet's feelings of concern for the nation, grief over the troubled times, longing for home, personal sorrows, as well as deep yearning for loved ones. It was premiered by Grammy Award-winning conductor Lucas Richman and members of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra in Maine.
Frontier in Gales

It portrays the tenacity and optimistic spirit of people dwelling in the old frontier areas as they struggle against the harsh environment. I performed this award-winning work myself at Ehrbar Hall in Vienna.
